As an early adopter of PureXML on both Db2 for z/OS and LUW, we have accumulated a lot of XML over the years. This presentation looks at why we have so much XML and then at some of the challenges of tables with XML columns, focusing on Db2 for z/OS. We then look at different techniques for dealing with some of these challenges.
